Projects, sections, your own columns, and an API

Every project on one board. What is due comes first.

taskduet.com is a task board. Split work into projects and sections, add the columns your work needs, and keep notes, comments, subtasks and files on each task. The Due view pulls everything late or due today out of every project into one list, and an AI agent can take tasks off your hands.

Free. Sign up with an email, or with Google, Apple or Facebook, and your first project is waiting.

How it works

One project at a time, or all of them at once

The strip across the top of the board is every project you have, with how many tasks are open in each. Two more views sit at the front of it, and the search box at the top finds any task, project or comment.

Due

Everything open with a due date of today or earlier, from every project, in one list. The board opens here.

All

Every open task in every live project, so you can sort and filter the whole workspace by any column.

A project

One project's tasks under its sections, with the columns that project shows. Drag rows to arrange them.

On every task

The detail is one click away

Click a task and its panel slides over the list. Everything in it saves as you go.

Tick it off

One click on the circle. Its subtasks go with it.

Dates

A due date, a start date and a progress percentage. Late ones turn red; snooze one until the day before it is due.

Notes and comments

A description, a running conversation and images on the task. Record a comment by voice, or press play to hear one read aloud.

Waiting on

Link a task to the one it waits for, so nobody starts something that cannot be finished yet.

The board

Shaped like your work

Nothing about the board is fixed. Make the projects, sections and columns your work actually has.

Projects and sections

Group work into projects, split each one into sections, drag tasks between them. Color each project, archive it when it is done.

Your own columns

Dropdowns, numbers, dates and text, colored the way you want, shown on whichever projects need them. Sort and filter on any of them.

Tags, subtasks, people

Tags in your own colors, subtasks under their parent, and an owner on every task. Invite the people you work with by email; mark a project Personal and only you see it.

Sharing

Send a client the link, not a screenshot

Turn on a share page for any project and you get a private link to a simple view of it: tasks under their sections, finished work struck through, progress at a glance. Anyone holding the link can add an item to a section, and it lands on your board as a normal task. No login, no invitation, no license. Turn it off and the link stops working.

For a client

Wants to see where things stand, without a status email.

For a colleague

Needs to hand you work without being onboarded onto your board.

AI and Slack

Hand work to an AI agent

Connect Claude, or any assistant that speaks MCP, and it joins your board as one more person.

Assign it a task

Give the agent a task and click Ask. It does the work and hands the task back as ready for review. You close it, never the agent.

Short questions, spoken answers

When it is stuck, it asks one plain question on the task. Answer by typing or by talking; the Questions page lists what is still waiting on you.

Your board in Slack

Type /td in Slack for what is due, a morning brief, stale tasks, or to add a task without leaving the conversation.

API

Your tasks, from a script

Make an API key in a click and read or write anything on your board: projects, tasks, custom fields, comments and a stats call built for dashboards. Plain JSON over HTTPS, one header to authenticate, revoke the key any time.

FAQ

Questions the page should answer

What is the Due view?
The first tab on the board. It gathers every open task with a due date of today or earlier from every project into one list, so a morning starts with one place to look rather than ten.
What can the API do?
Read and write projects, sections, tasks, custom fields and comments, and pull a stats summary for a dashboard. You make and revoke keys yourself on your Account page.
How does the AI agent work?
Make an API key, add the taskduet.com MCP server to Claude or another assistant, and the agent appears on your board. Assign it a task and ask it to start. It posts short questions when it needs you and marks the task ready for review when it is done.
Does it work with Slack?
Yes. Add the app to your workspace, link your account with /td link, and /td shows what is due, finds tasks and adds new ones.
Do my clients need accounts?
No. A project's share page is readable, and addable to, by anyone with its link. You decide which projects have one. To work on the board itself, invite them by email from your Account page.
Can I add my own fields?
Yes. Dropdowns with colored options, numbers, dates and text. A field is made once and shown as a column on whichever projects need it.
Can I bring tasks in from somewhere else?
Yes, through the API: one call per task, with its project, due date, notes and fields.
What does it cost?
Nothing. It is a free kanban board with no seats to buy and no card to enter.

Every project. One board.
